Razzaq Khan Niazi – Visual Artist | Educator | Art Philosopher
Born on January 17, 1989, in the village of Khoransa, District Gonda, and raised in Kanpur Nagar, Razzaq Khan Niazi is a dedicated visual artist and educator with a deep-rooted passion for art that began at the age of 14. Inspired and mentored by the renowned artist Mr. Kishan Chandra Srivastava, Razzaq honed his foundational skills in drawing and painting while working on hand-painted cinema posters—a practice that instilled in him a profound appreciation for traditional artistic expression.
Razzaq’s artistic journey blends practical experience with academic excellence. After completing his schooling in 2008 and 2010, he pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Amity University, Lucknow in 2015. He later earned a Master’s degree (M.A.) in Drawing and Painting from CSJM University, Kanpur, further enriching his artistic vision and technical skills.
His professional path includes diverse experiences across education and the creative industry. He taught art and design for six years at UCI Pvt. Institute, Kanpur, worked briefly at Twinsbrain Animation in Noida, and later served as an art instructor at Tansen Sangeet Mahavidhyalay in Lucknow. His journey took him to Mumbai, where he worked as an Assistant Art Director in Bollywood before returning to Kanpur to teach as an Assistant Professor at Axis Colleges for five years. In 2024, he briefly joined Chandigarh University but stepped away due to geographical constraints.
